Warriors Weekend Update…

Good luck to the 16U team playing up in Boston this weekend at the Best of Boston Classic hosted by the Boston Warriors.  Two weeks ago this group won the Metrowest Roundball Classic in Waltham.  Keep up the great work!

Another 16U Championship

Shout out to Coach Abate and the 16U Warriors team. They finished 4-0 in Zero Gravity’s Central Mass Madness tourney in Worcester, bringing home their second championship in as many tournaments. Keep up the great work!IMG_20180415_161456_622

CT Clash Champions

Congrats to the 16U team and Coach Abate!  They finished 3-1 this weekend, capturing the championship at Zero Gravity’s CT Clash tourney.  This qualifies them for the ZG nationals later this season.  Great work!

All Star Zach Scott

Congratulations to our own Zach Scott of Stonington HS!  Check out the article below from the Westerly Sun.  Wishing him much continued success!

It’s easy to see what Zach Scott does well on the basketball court.

Just watch the Stonington High guard put up an outside shot. The form, the arc, the rotation on the ball — it’s all there. And, most important, there’s a good chance it will go in.

Scott, just a sophomore, averaged a team-leading 16.2 points per game, hit 69 3-pointers and helped the Bears to 10 wins this season, their most since 2012-13. For his efforts, he was voted by league coaches to the ECC Division II All-Star first team.  READ MORE
