Fall 2015 Wrap-Up

The Fall 2015 season has ended and we want to take a moment to acknowledge the players and coaches for their hard work this season.

First and foremost congratulations to Coach Steve Connell and his 6th grade team.  They won their 3rd tournament of the season, in the RI Breakers tourney in East Greenwich.

They followed up this great performance by winning the Mass Premier Halloween Bash the following weekend.  Awesome work!

The other 3 RI Warriors teams also fared well in their final weekend of play. The 8th graders finished 3-1 in their bracket.  The team improved tremendously in the short fall season under the veteran guidance of Coach Jay Abate and Assistant Coach Hunter Warner.  Undoubtedly they will continue to get better and even more competitive in Spring of 2016.

The other 6th grade team under Coach Tim Raymond finished 2-1 and also showed significant growth over the past two months.

Finally, the 7th grade team, led by Coach Mike McGonagle pulled out a huge win in their final game.  Down 3 points with less than a minute to play, the Warriors tied the game with a huge 3-point shot followed by a steal and lay-in to go up 2 and seal the victory.  It was a great way to end the season!

Thanks again to all the players and coaches for your time, effort, and dedication!  Thanks to all the parents, families, and friends for your support.  We look forward to seeing you all in Spring 2016!  Keep practicing and working hard!
