Tryouts are coming up in just a few days! So what do coaches want to see anyway?Generally speaking, at tryouts, coaches are looking for more than just fantastic individual basketball talent. Impressive players demonstrate that they have solid fundamental skills (dribbling, passing, rebounding, defending, shooting, etc.). However, in addition, coaches also want to see consistent effort, strong work ethic, hustle, aggressiveness, communication, good teamwork, respect for coaches and other players, as well as a positive attitude. Show the coaches that you have these skills and abilities and you’ll have a good shot at making the team. Good luck to all those trying out for the RI Warriors this Wednesday and next Sunday!
